Filmstro have teamed up with Film Riot to bring you the ultimate short film open to everyone worldwide.

The time has come and the Film Riot team have announced the opening of 'One Minute Short Film' contest, which runs from now until November the 13th, and if you're wondering about the rules then we've got you covered.

Let's jump right in with the competition details:

• You MUST create a one minute (that means 60 seconds) short film. Not a frame over. If you want to add credits or endings to your short film… do it in those 60 seconds! Anything over 60 seconds risks being disqualified.
• The film can NOT be a documentary. The film needs to be scripted (this doesn't mean there needs to be any dialogue) and other than that you can choose pretty much ANY genre for your film and make it about whatever you want it to be about;  Live-action, animation etc (other than it being a documentary…)
• Your film MUST use music from Filmstro in it (check out the library of royalty free music). You can use as much or as little Filmstro music in your film as you'd like… that's really down to you! 
• You MUST submit your film by November 13th at 12pm CST (not a second later or you run the risk of being disqualified!). You must submit the film via email to: mondaychallenge@triunefilms.com with the subject line as "One Minute Short". You can upload your film directly to Youtube or Vimeo and add the URL to your email when submitting your film.
• You can deliver your film as early as you'd like (starting NOW!)
• Winners will be announced on November the 20th. There will be 6 winners in total.
• Each week Filmstro will announce 3 winners of Funko Pop dolls based on people who have downloaded the Filmstro app and created an account using the exclusive FIlm Riot 60 day code.

Looking through the questions some of you posted on the original Film Riot video, we've tried to answer the most popular below.

1. Is the competition open internationally?
   Hell Yeah! In fact it's the most 'open' competition in the universe, literally. If you're from anywhere in our universe and want to participate in this competition, you can.
2. I'm a student, can I enter too?
   Hell Yeah, again! Filmmaking is all about learning and exploring and if you can't do that as a student then the world just sucks. So go out there and make the best 60 second film you've ever done.
3. Can I upload enter multiple films to the competition?
   Yup yup, of course you can. We want to save you the trouble of making a fake email address and having to live two lives just for the sake of uploading a second or third short film. Upload as many as you want but remember, these films are being judged on their quality!
4. All the Filmstro music is still locked! How can I access it?
   You need to go to: www.filmstro.com/filmriot and click on the big button that reads: "GET A FREE 60 DAY PASS HERE". You'll be asked to login or signup (do that!) and then click on the big button again and you should see a message that reads: "You now have FREE access to the full library for 60 days!". You can now login to the Filmstro app and see the entire library is unlocked! Have fun.
5. Does the short film have to be exactly one minute or can it be more?
   It can't be a second over one minute or you run the risk of being disqualified. It's really not worth it when there's so many great prizes at stake.
